Alta-Aurelia boys lose two games

ALTA - Alta- Aurelia's 13-game winning streak came to a halt over the weekend.

The Warriors lost to Ridge View at Holstein on Saturday, 4-1, with Austin Delp taking the loss on the mound, going 1 1/3 innings and allowing four runs (one earned) on five hits, while walking two and fanning two. Cody Cameron finished up, pitching 2 2/3 innings, allowing no runs on one hit, while walking one and striking out four.

On Monday, The Warriors were unable to overcome a 5-0 deficit and dropped a 7-5 Twin Lakes Conference baseball game to East Sac County. Jaden Holton started on the mound for the Warriors, and he pitched four innings, allowing five runs (four earned) on eight hits, while striking out four and walking four. Neil Marshall pitched the final three innings, allowing two earned runs on four hits, while striking out two and issuing one walk.

The losses dropped Alta-Aurelia's season record to 14-7.
