Biking team to benefit Cystic Fibrosis

Thursday, June 28, 2012

When RAGBRAI XL arrives in Cherokee Sunday, July 22, for its first overnight stop on this year's ride, Marcus Lumber will feature a team pedaling for a purpose that will participate on all or part of that first day's event.

marcus Lumber is partnering with Owens Corning and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to form a team to benefit the CFF. A $25 entry fee gets you on the team and proceeds will be donated to the CFF to help find a cure for the disease.

In return, team members will receive an authentic custom biking jersey and custom water bottle, as well as the opportunity to take part in an organized training ride.

Riders can ride part of all of the first day and are encouraged to go at their own pace, as there is no requirement to ride as a group.

For more information, or to sign up, call 1-800-658-5400, or stop in at Marcus Lumber and see Grant or Jim.
