Raptors lose in 11 innings, 4-2

HOLSTEIN - It was hot Tuesday, and the Ridge View Raptors played a barnburner of a baseball game here against Logan-Magnolia.

Tied 2-2 after seven regulation innings, the game went four extra frames befor Lo-MA scored twice in the 11th and held on to score a 4-2 Western Valley Conference win over the Panthers.

Heath Clark and Travis Hoeppner each had a pair of hits for Coach Shannon Tesch's Raptor team, whose record stands at 16-5 and 10-3 in the conference after the tough loss.

Kris Alesch threw nine innings for Ridge View, giving up two earned runs on six hits while walking five and whiffing 15 batters. Travis Hoeppner took the loss on the mound, allowing two unearned runs on three hits, while walking one and striking out three.

Quinn Mann and Buck Pauley each rapped out three hits for Lo-Ma.
