According to Downs the Mobile Education Trailer is one of the best marketing tools in promoting the Ethanol Industry.
The trailer will arrive and be set-up in Marcus on Saturday, July 21 and will be ready to be utilized on Sunday, June 22 for the thousands of people expected to be traveling through Marcus to Cherokee on the annual RAGBRAI.
Downs commented, "It was quite a feat, to get the trailer here."
"It's a walk-through exhibit that shows you the process of how Ethanol is produced," said Downs.
"We're real excited about it coming to Marcus," he added. "The City of Marcus and members of Cherokee County Corn Growers are committed to the education of Ethanol and Biodiesel."
The Mobile Education Trailer, which is more like a converted mobile home than a trailer, will be located on the south end of Main Street in downtown Marcus.
