EMMETSBURG - The Alta-Aurelia boys broke a 2-2 tie with four runs in the 3rd inning on their way to an 8-3 win over Okoboji in first round Class 2A district baseball Tournament action here on Saturday.

Jaden Holton and Austin Delp drove in two runs apiece, and Holton, Neil Marshal and James Curbow each had two hits for the Warriors, who totaled nine base hits to seven for the Pioneers.

Delp got the win on the mound, going seven innings and allowing one earned run on seven hits, while striking out six and walking two.
