Halvorson, Lambert engaged

Lori Halvorson and Andy Lambert of Lincoln, Nebraska plan to marry August 18, 2012 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The bride, the daughter of Arlen and Candy Halvorson of Fayetteville, Arkansas, is the granddaughter of Robert and Roma Halvorson of Wakonda, South Dakota, Richard "Grandpa Turkey" and Florence Jensen of Cherokee, and the late Rebecca Jensen. Lori, a 2005 graduate of Jenks (Okla.) High School, is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nebraska after receiving her Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2012, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri in 2010.

The groom is the son of Frank and Laurie Lambert of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He is the grandson of Mary Lambert of Temple, Texas and the late Andrew F. Lambert, Gloria Niewald of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and the late Donald Niewald.

Andy, a 2005 graduate of Broken Arrow (Okla.) High School, is a 2010 graduate of the University of Arkansas with a bachelor's degree in Transportation and Logistics, and he is currently an account manager for National Research Corporation in Lincoln, Nebraska,
