LARRABEE - Graduates of Larrabee Consolidated School from Years 1923 to the final graduating class of 1961 will celebrate a class reunion Friday in Larrabee as part of the city's 125th Fun Day Celebration.
A supper will be served at 5 p.m. Friday in the Larrabee Community Center. The menu will consist of taverns, beans, refreshments, and potluck salads and desserts.
Among those graduates responding are from Iowa, California, Illinois, Nebraska, Wyoming, and Oregon. According to organizers, the oldest class member to respond and will attend, graduated in 1934.
On Saturday's Fun Day, a kids tractor pull is on tap at 10 a.m., and a Product Show will be held in the Fire Station from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There are free kids games in the park beginning at 11 a.m., and a Bucket Brigade sponsored by the Larrabee Fire Department is at 12:30 p.m. At 1 p.m. is a Cake Walk sponsored by the 4-H.
A burn-Out Contest is at 2 p.m. for a $15 entry fee, and from 4-8 p.m. Saturday is the Larrabee Fireman Steak Fry and Music in the park.
The Street Dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. features "The Rude Band." Admission is $5 for ages 13 and up, and age 12 and under free.
Among all-day activities are inflatables, slip-and-slide, 5 in 1 bounce house, and obstacle course. Cost is $5 all day for wrist band.
The Beer Garden opens at 4 p.m..
