Cherokee's Central Bank has donated $25,000 to the Koser Spring Lake Park Yacht Club project. Front row, left to right, Central Bank President Chuck Wulfsen, Lorri Gill, Sheila Trapp, Nicole Hoskinson, Dan Buck. Back, Chris Jenness, Becky Patterson, Lyn Lundell, Cindy Baldwin, Pam Leinbaugh, Nancy Nielson and Sara Schmeckpeper. Ten-percent of the bank's donation will be set aside to establish a new scholarship program where the facility usage fee is waived or reduced for low to moderate income families. "We believe the enhancements to the Park will benefit the entire community as well as attract more families to the area," said Wulfsen. If you would like to learn more about the Spring Lake Yacht Club or to make a donation, please contact City Hall at (712) 225-5749. Photo contributed
