Calumet celebrates Quasquicentennial

Rumbles rock Calumet - As part of the Calumet Quasquicentennial, "The Rumbles," in the midst of a tour celebrating 50 years together, played the street dance and they did not disappoint. The town of Calumet, in O'Brien County, celebrated its 125th birthday on the weekend of July 21st, complete with a parade, car show, a dance with music performed by the Rumbles, and spectacular fireworks.

Calumet Quasquicentennial - The city and residents of Calumet celebrated the town's Quasquicentennial on Saturday July 21, 2012. The celebration included a fabulous fireworks show that was held shortly after dusk. The street dance that was going on paused while hundreds gathered at the Calumet City Park to watch the stunning,and quite lengthy, pyrotechnic display that marked the town's 125th Anniversary.
