MANSON - The Ridge View High School girls and boys teams both competed in the Manson NW Webster Invitational Cross Country Meet here on Thursday.
The Raptor girls finished 4th among the seven teams who competed, scoring 138 points. Individually for Ridge View, Rachel Hunt finished in 20th place with her time of 20:30.39; Kate Mathes was 25th, with a time of 20:49.55; Melissa Brandt was 27th, in 21:00.13; Susie Collier was 30th, in 21:23.84; Sami Naberhaus was 36th, with a time of 22:43.94; and Courthey Carstens finished 38th with a time of 23:11.90..Forty-six runners competed in the Girls Meet.
Team Scores - 1. Prairie Valley, 50; 2. Fort Dodge St. Edmond, 53; 3. South Central Calhoun, 99; 4. Ridge View, 138; 5. MNW, 145; SE Webster Grand and East Sac County were unable to field a complete team.
In the Boys' race, Ridge View's Jason Kenny finished second among the 77 runners, finishing in a time of 18:16.67, while teammate Christian Egger also finished among the top 10, placing 6th with his time of 19:14.82. Sergio Carbajal was 14th with a time of 20:23.85; Charlie Kliegl was 25th, in 21:19.89; Kenny Zach finished 47th with a time of 23:30.89; Gabe Carbajal was 59th, running the course in a time of 25:11.03; Alex Burhop was 67th, in 27:56.50; and Jonah Kistenmacher finished 69th with a time of 28:32.83.
