The Indians limited Cherokee's serving and hitting attempts with a strong defense and aggressive offense.
Megan Hummel paced Cherokee's hitting attack with 18-26 and four kills, followed by Alexia Gerdes 11-14 and five kills, Ariana Smith 10-14 and two kills, Kaely Hummel 10-16 and two kills, and Maddy Woodall 8-9 and one kill.

Woodall paced the WHS gals in setting with 65-69 and 14 kills. Kaely Hummel led in digs with 17, followed by Megan Hummel 12, Haselhoff eight, and Ramirez six.
Brookelyn Hoeppner and Gerdes each registered a block assist in the fast-moving match.
"We did not play up to our potential tonight," said Cherokee coach Julie Hummel. "We will regroup quickly and be ready to come back strong at Spencer Tuesday night."
