O'Brien County extends camping season

Wednesday, September 26, 2012

The O'Brien County Conservation Board is extending the camping season with full amenities (water, electric, etc. -- where available) through the first weekend of October at Dog Creek Park, southeast of Sutherland, and Mill Creek Park, located east of Paullina.

At this time all of the six-person Cabins at both parks and the Lodge at Mill Creek Park are available for rent, so don't hesitate to take advantage of extending your summer/fall fun with friends and family.

Also, Douma Park and Tjossem Park will be open for camping, but there will not be water or electric at those facilities.

The O'Brien County Conservation Board looks forward to seeing everyone.

Contact the O'Brien County Conservation at (712) 295-7200 if you have any questions.
