Miles new County Democrat Chairman

Terence J. Miles has taken over the Chairmanship of the Cherokee County Democrats.

"It is my honor and privilege to succeed retiring Chuck Clark as Chairman of the Cherokee County Democrat Party," stated Miles.

Miles is a native of South Dakota and attended music school at Souh Dakota State University in Brookings. He is a six-year veteran of the Army Band system, having served in Missouri, Norfolk, Va., Germany, Seoul, South Korea, Chicago Ill., and Kansas.

He also spent several years living and working in eastern Wisconsin, and has lived here in Northwest Iowa for six years.

While he continues to pursue freelance musical gigs, Miles plays Bass Guitar, Upright Bass, Piano and Low Brass. His musical styles include Country, Rock, Polka, Jazz, Swing, Blues, Theater, and Classical.

He also has significant work experience in sales, manufacturing, journalism, and many other trades.

"I am proud to call myself a liberal; I believe that everyone has a voice that needs to be heard. I will do my best to honor everyone's opinion and I look forward to supporting and promoting our Party's ideals. When we engage, we progress," said Miles.
