"Our girls are showing improvement as the season moves along," said first-year Cherokee coach Matt Hoskinson. "We have really been working hard in practice on technique and it showed in this meet. Hanna had one of her best runs of the year and the rest of the team looks like they are ready to turn in some great runs as well.
"We are looking forward to being at home next Tuesday at MHI and hope that we have a great turn-out of fans to cheer on our runners. It should be a great night for a race and I encourage everyone to join us. Even if you are new to the sport it is great to see kids working hard in the races."
