RV Coach Pamela Frederiksen said, "We came on strong at the beginning of the first set and then let up. I know we could have played better. No matter who we are are playing, each and every night the girls need to come ready to play and work hard.

"No win is ever handed to any team, and each and every player has to be mentally ready each night. Mistakes happen, but to dig deep and recover from these mistakes is what is going to make us a better team."

River Valley now has a 3-27 record on the season.
