With one week left in the regular season, the undefeated Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn team appears ready to run the table in its first season of playing 8-man football.

The 8-0 Eagles host neighboring Kingsley-Pierson (3-5) tonight, while in other 8-player action, River Valley (3-5) hosts Clay Central Everly (0-8).

In Class 1A District 2, Ridge View (4-4), fresh off an "upset" of District 1 Odebolt-Arthur/Battle Creek-Ida Grove (5-3) Friday night, plays at undefeated IKM Manning (8-0); while South O'Brien at 6-2 travels to 4-4 Hull Western Christian to end regular season in 1A District 1.

In Class 2A, The Cherokee Braves (0-8) host Orange City Unity Christian (1-7) Friday.

In Class A District 1, Alta-Aurelia (1-7) hosts West Sioux (1-7) in Aurelia to finish regular season action.
