The annual Cherokee Main Street Trick or Treat Costume Parade will be held this year on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 1 p.m..
The popular sidewalk parade of downtown Cherokee will begin and end at the Cherokee Fire Station.
All costume parade entrants are asked to check in at the Cherokee Fire Station between 12:30 p.m. and 1 p.m. The parade will leave the Cherokee Fire Station parking lot at 1 p.m.
The parade route will take the little trick and treaters west from the Cherokee Fire Station onto Fourth Street then to Main Street; west to Fifth Street, across the street and then west on Main Street to Electric Beach; across Main Street and then east on Main Street to First Street; across the street and west on Main Street to Fourth Street and finally, south on Fourth Street and back to the Cherokee Fire Station for goodies bags.
The Cherokee Main Street Trick or Treat Costume Parade is sponsored by the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce. Businesses not on Main Street can bring candy or items to put in the goodie bags. Please have those items to the Chamber by today.
Last year there were over 370 kids in the parade and it was great fun to watch. The Chamber asks that businesses encourage their employees to wear a costume and make this a memorable event for all the little goblins.
