Absentee Ballots for the upcoming General Election remain available at the Cherokee County Auditor's office located in the Cherokee County Courthouse at 520 W. Main St.
If you will be unable to vote on the scheduled Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6, you may stop in or call the Auditor's office at 225-6704 to receive the absentee request form.
Send your Ballot Request to: Cherokee County Auditor, 520 W. Main St., Drawer H, Cherokee, IA 51012 or drop off your Ballot Request at the Cherokee County Auditor's Office, or in the drop box in front of the court house north doors.
The deadline for handing in an absentee request form to the Auditor Office is 5 p.m. today, Nov. 2.
You may vote absentee at the County Auditor's office through Monday, Nov. 5. Ballots returned by mail must be postmarked by Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, or you may hand deliver your voted ballot to the Auditor's Office on Election Day by 9 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 6.
