Beta Sigma Phi Fall Craft Show at WITCC

Friday, November 9, 2012

Are you looking for a great way to begin the holiday season? The Beta Sigma Phi Fall Craft Show has been providing that "pre-holiday" tradition for 33 years.

Many people attend the Craft Show and say it marks the start of their holiday shopping and helps "get them in the mood" for their holiday traditions.

The 2012 Beta Sigma Phi Fall Craft Show will be held at the Cherokee Western Iowa Tech Community College Conference Center on Saturday. Hours for the show are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. All proceeds of the Craft Show stay in our community and state.

In past years money has been donated to such organizations as CAASA, The Cherry House, and the Bacon Aquatic Center. This year proceeds will be going to a graduating Washington High School senior, and to the new Yacht Club building at Spring Lake Park. In addition, members are always on the alert for other quieter ways to "Pay It Forward" and have been very generous with their giving.

The Beta Sigma Phi Craft Show has it all. This year there will be more than 60 booths where you will find unique holiday decorations and Christmas gifts that you will be proud to give. Jewelry, pottery, quilts, gourmet foods, sculptures and many more wonderful and fun treasures will delight anyone on your holiday gift list.

This wonderful holiday event is right here in your backyard. Gather your friends and come join in the fun, Come for coffee at 10 a.m. and then shop a little. Come enjoy a delicious "new menu" lunch and head back to shop some more. It will be a great day.

Doors open at 10 a.m. and admission is just $1.

Organizers of the show suggest you come early and stay late, they can't wait to see you there.
