'Christmas Carol' performance tonight

The Cherokee Community Theater, in conjunction with the Cherokee School District, are presenting, "A Christmas Carol," The Broadway Musical.

The production will be performed on stage at the Cherokee Community Center tonight at 7:30 p.m., along with performances on Friday at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. with the final performance on Sunday at 6 p.m.

The spectacular production will feature a cast of over 50 and the Cherokee Symphony Orchestra, directed by, Lee Thorson. Amy Sarchet will be featured on piano as the lead accompanist and musical director.

The spectacular costumes and superior singing talent of the cast will showcase this heart-warming Christmas story. You will be moved by the heartfelt performances of the cast as they reveal the transformation of Scrooge from a calloused broken man to a man full of love and Christmas spirit. Cast ages range from 4 to 70 and cast members come from throughout the Cherokee area.
