PIERSON -- A Washington High School graduate will work as a clerk for Senator Bill Anderson (R-Pierson) during the 2013 Legislative Session. Cherokee native, Adam Pitts, will help Senator Anderson with his schedule and important documentation dealing with legislation for the 85th General Assembly which convenes January 14, 2013.

Having been a Senate Page in 2012, Adam knows his way around the Capitol as well as the state government process.

"I am impressed by Adam's exceptional work ethic and enthusiasm for good public policy," said Anderson. "I think he will be a great clerk and I look forward to working with him."

Adam, the son of Mike and Kelly Pitts, is a freshman at Buena Vista University and an active member of the ROTC.
