The Trinity Lutheran Church of Cherokee will be holding a benefit for the Chris and Carrie Cordova family at the Cherokee Middle School at 206 E. Indian Street on Sunday, Jan. 13 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This benefit is being held to help the Cordova family with expenses that incurred during the illness and the death of their daughter, Bailey.
Bailey would have been 12 years old on Jan. 10. The Church will be serving spaghetti, garlic bread, dessert and drink. A free will offering will be taken.
At 1 p.m. there will be an auction of items donated by many businesses and special items such as "a basket of goodies" for this event. There will also be a raffle for two afghans that have been donated by Arlene Radke. Raffle tickets will be $1 each or six for $5.
Raffle tickets may also be purchased prior to or during the benefit. Drawing will be done at the close of the auction
Please come and join us on Sunday, Jan. 13. Serving will begin at 11 a.m. and the auction at 1 p.m.
