Learning with Lunch

Friday, January 4, 2013

Are you living with clutter? Do you want to feel more organized? Are you suffering from Mid-Life clutter? If you can answer "yes" to any of these questions please join the Cherokee County Extension Office that will be presenting a "Learn with Lunch" program to help make sense of your clutter.

They will tackle the types of clutter we all have in our homes. Travel clutter, inheritance clutter, ambiance clutter, and get-to-it someday clutter, even car clutter.

Everyone could all use a day to tackle clutter before it gets out of hand. No one can do it for you, but the "Learn with Lunch" program can give you a different way to look at your "stuff" that truly is clutter. Once you de-clutter you will look back and say ahhhhh, what a relief it is.

The public is invited to Western Iowa Tech Community College on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at noon. They will have a light lunch, take a look at their own clutter, and maybe even be able to laugh a little bit at what "clutter-holics" they are.

"Learning with Lunch" is a series of workshops on a different topic, offered each month through April 2013, brought to you by ISU Extension and Outreach, Cherokee County along with WITCC and Hy-Vee.

Cost for the program is $6 per person, which covers the cost of a light lunch.

To reserve a seat and lunch, participants must preregister by Tuesday, Jan. 8 by calling the Cherokee County Extension office at 225-6196, or email xcherokee@iastate.edu to preregister.

If you would like to know what the topics are for the upcoming months, please give them a call.
