Super Star Gazer planned

PETERSON - Take a tour of the night sky ... from INSIDE the Prairie Heritage Center hear Peterson. Don't miss this opportunity to see our galaxy from a completely different angle.

The O'Brien County Conservation Board is offering a "Super Star Gazer" program sure to please people of all ages.

On Saturday, Jan. 19, beginning at 6 p.m., start the tour of the night sky inside a portable planetarium -- the STAR LAB. This stellar "trip" around the night sky will include a stop on the moon, a fly-by of some of the planets in our solar system ... and more.

After viewing the night sky inside the portable dome, participants are invited to continue the night sky adventure with a (nearly) Full Moon Walk in the prairie.

For more information about this and other programs offered by the O'Brien County Conservation Board, call the office at 712-295-7200.
