STORM LAKE -- Buena Vista head softball coach Heather Hupke has announced the dates and times for her softball team to conduct its annual softball clinics for those individuals currently in grades 3-12. All camps will be held inside of the Lamberti Recreation Center on the BVU campus.
Pitching clinics for high school individuals (8th-12th) will be held from 1:00pm-4:00pm on Saturday, February 23 and from 9:00am-Noon on Sunday, March 10. (Note: the pitching clinics will be the same each session so there will be no need to attend both). A fundamentals (offensive and defensive) clinic for the same age group will also be held from 1:00pm-4:00pm on March 10.
For those individuals in grades 3rd-7th, pitching clinics will be held on both Saturday, February 23 and Sunday, February 24 from 9:00am-Noon. A fundamentals (offensive and defensive) clinic for the same age group will also take place from 1:00pm-4:00pm following the pitching clinic on February 24.
Cost to attend one clinic is $50 and to attend two clinics is $85. All pitchers will need to bring their own catcher. All campers will receive a t-shirt. A catcher can attend the pitching clinic for free, unless they choose to purchase a t-shirt ($10).
Space for all sessions will be limited to ensure that individual attention is given to each camper.
Registrations will be accepted by both mail and email. To obtain a copy of the registration form, visit the Buena Vista athletic website: http://www.bvu.edu/athletics
It's recommended that all campers register at least 10 days prior to the date of the clinic to ensure they receive a t-shirt. For any additional questions or concerns, contact Coach Hupke at 712.749.2014 or at firstname.lastname@example.org
