'Wild Women' at Martin's Access

Monday, August 17, 2015

The Cherokee County Conservation Board invites women 16 years and older to take the opportunity to socialize, enjoy the outdoors, learn something new, and have fun at Martin's Access September 18-19. Join us on Friday evening and stay overnight in one of our modern cabins. Can't stay the night? You can join us for the day on Saturday morning.

Activities that may be covered during this event include canoeing the Little Sioux River, basic astronomy, hiking for wild edibles, building a wine bottle bird feeder, geocaching, and more!

The cost for the event is $10 per participant. The cost helps to cover the cost of food and supplies. Registration for the event is required, and space is limited. Please register before 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 15.

To register for the event, please stop by the CCCB office at 629 River Rd in Cherokee to pick-up a form, e-mail a request to cccblaura@gmail.com, or download it from our website at www.cherokeecountyparks.com.

Once registration is received, you will get a confirmation call or e-mail.
