Kelly Ann (Clark) Garvin of rural Meriden, 53, passed away Sunday afternoon, March 20, 2016, at her home, surrounded by her family.It was Kelly's wish to have her body cremated and there be no services. Kelly was born in Cherokee, to Robert and Marcia (Veak) Clark, on August 6, 1962 She graduated from Willow Community Schools in 1980. Over the years she lived in Cherokee, Fort Dodge and Lincoln, Nebraska. Kelly worked at the Gasthaus fRestaurant in Cherokee for several years, as well as at Jessie's Fine Meats, Danny's, Fareway, and,most recently, at Jackson Recovery in Cherokee. Kelly was married to George Garvin on May 6, 2003, and they made their home just north of Meriden. She enjoyed fishing and camping and also loved playing with her granddaughter Olivia, who was her pride and Joy.
Kelly was preceded in death by her grandparents and a great nephew.
She is survived by her husband George of Meriden; daughter Alicia (Ryne) Peterson and their daughter Olivia of Ankeny; son Nick Clark of Cherokee; her parents, Robert and Marcia Clark of Cherokee; four brothers - Kirt (Robin) Clark of Moreno Valley, California, Brad Clark of Quimby, Brian Clark and Evan Clark of California; and Mason, who was her"little buddy" and favorite great - nephew
