South O’Brien boys top MMCRU
PAULLINA - The South O’Brien boys got off to a 26-8 first quarter lead over Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen Union here Friday night, and the Wolverines never looked back, as they posted a 79-41 War Eagle Conference win over the Royals.
Carson Louscher netted 28 points for South O’Brien, including 3 of 6 three point attempts and a perfect 5-5 at the charity stripe. Jackson Louscher added 15 points of his own, including 3 of 5 three point attempts, and Cameron Maxwell was also in double digits, scoring 12 points. Maxwell also led the Wolverines on the boards with nine rebounds, and Carson Louscher and Drew Faust each had seven caroms.
Hunter Tentinger paced the Royals, scoring 17 points and adding five rebounds. Cam Schueder added nine points and Chris Schmid eight for the Royals.
