Supervisors handle brief agenda

The Cherokee County Board of Supervisors held a Public Hearing Tuesday for the County’s proposed 2016/2017 fiscal year budget amendment.

Chairman Rick Mongan asked for comments from the public. Hearing no comments from the public, the Board voted to close the public hearing and then adopted the 2016/2017 fiscal year budget amendment as published.

In other action, the Board approved a separation of employment and $4,419.47 final payout of vacation and hours worked for Nancy Nelson, Deputy Assessor, effective April 28, 2017.

The Superviros also approved an $11.00 wage authorization effective May 1, 2017 for Tony Morris, Seasonal Park Technician, and also approved an $11.00 wage authorization effective April 17, 2017 for Dave Scott, Seasonal Park Technician, both as previously approved by the Cherokee County Conservation Board.
