Main Street building razed

Wednesday, June 13, 2018

Workers have been busy the past week demolishing a dilapidated former Main Street tavern building in Cherokee- the city’s oldest wood structure on Main Street

Work has progressed back to front and required closing of the alley for a time. The lot was purchased by neighboring business owners John P. and Mollie Loughlin of The Book Vine and Air B&B.
