Ridge View boys bow out at Kingsley

Safe at 2nd - River Valley’s Trey Goettsch tags Ridge View’s Jacob Tokhiem at second base in baseball action earlier this season, but Tokheim was safe.

KINGSLEY - Ridge View scored two runs in the top of the 1st inning in their first -round District baseball game her against Kingsley-Pierson Tuesday, but that was all the scoring the Raptors would do, as Kingsley-Pierson scored 13 runs over the first four innings and won the game 13-2 in four innings.

Stealing second? - Ridge View catcher Jaxon Franken throws to second trying to nab a runner who’s attempting to steal in baseball action earlier this season.

Jake Tokheim had two hits for the Raptors and Jake Mitchell, Caleb Kistenmacher and Austin Degen each had one hit.

Raptors’ Coach Shannon Tesch commented, “(It’s) not the way we wanted the season to end, but (there were) a lot of great memories from this team.”

Ridge View's season ends with a 12-12 record.
