CWHS students visit the Capitol

Mrs. Woock took the Government students to Des Moines to visit the State Historical Museum of Iowa and the State Capitol Building. Student got to see many of the museum exhibits covering all sorts of topics throughout Iowa's history, including exhibits about Native Americans, Iowa's role in the Civil War, and RAGBRAI! At the State Capitol they got to take the full tour learning about the history of the Capitol building, learning about the functions of Iowa's government, and they got to go all the way up into the dome! They had a fantastic time and learned a ton!
