Karon L. Schoonover, age 72 of rural Paullina, IA, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 23, 2023, at the Greenwood-Schubert Funeral Home in Cherokee, IA. Pastor Deb and Gregg Stano will officiate. Burial will take place at Lone Tree Cemetery in Sioux Rapids, IA. Visitation with family present will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Friday night at the Greenwood-Schubert Funeral Home in Cherokee.
