MMCRU students present "Ballons Over Broadway"

MMCRU Special Education teachers Dawn Bates and Darbi Duistermars have had their students enjoying the book “Balloons Over Broadway” by Melissa Sweet. The students participated in a unit study including excerpts from the Macy's Day Parade.and a project making balloons using tissue paper and glue water.  The students were excited to learn about the history of the parade and were truly excited to share their creations with their community and with Macy's.
