Pheasants Forever donates $25K to Licklider Shooting Complex

Cherokee County Pheasants Forever donated $25,000 towards the new trap fields at Licklider Shooting Complex. Cherokee County Conservation Board Director Laura Jones told the Chronicle Times that they are aiming to install four fields. This will create a home field for the Cherokee County Youth Shooting Sports team to practice and hold competitions. These fields will be open to other teams, the public and for special events. She also added that anyone who sponsors a trap field with a $25,000 donation will receive naming rights just like Pheasants Forever.
