Farmers Market starts Thursday
Here is the list of vendors and the items available for sale during opening day Thursday for the popular Cherokee Area Farmers Market under the canopy at the historic Cherokee RR Depot. The Market is open from 4-6 p.m.
As the pandemic wanes, market organizers will continue will to have available spray sanitizer for vendors and customers, who may choose for themselves whether to wear a mask outside the depot.
Vendors with Items for Sale:
Wayne Nafe will have radishes, beets, kohlrabi, spinach, rhubarb and onions.
Justine Decker will have lettuce (Romaine, Bibb and Mixed Green), scallions and kale.
Myra Miller will have matched sets of pot holders and hot pads - 100% USA cotton and machine washable.Jeri Terry will have Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Blossoms, Oatmeal Raisin, Snickerdoodles, Pecan Caramel and more cookies, Banana, banana nut, strawberry, cinnamon and chocolate chip breads, Salted nut rolls and bars, and
Also, Beth Anderson will have photographs and artwork. Breanne Cedar will have a variety of jams, jellies, and butters; handmade scrubbies and shower fizzies.
Michelle and Abby Glassmaker will have banana bread, brownies, cupcakes, chocolate chip cookies and chunky money bars; handmade crocheted dish/wash cloths, hair bows and necklaces. Cindy Lindahl will have handmade crocheted rugs, kitchen drying mats, recycled grocery bags made into market bags and coffee bags. Joan Anderson will have handmade American Girl and Boy Doll Clothes.
