Hanover annual meeting Jan. 11

The 2025 Hanover Historical Society Annual Meeting will be held at 2:00 pm on Jan. 11, 2026, at St. John Lutheran Church in rural Hanover (southwest of Alta). This is an open meeting, and everyone is invited to join us for a presentation by Tyler Sullivan from Iowa Scenic by Foot.

When you think of Iowa, what comes to mind? Did you know that Iowa has 99 counties and 101 courthouses? Tyler Sullivan has visited 97 of those counties and has been to 1,300 cities across the state. To make his visits memorable, he creates a poem for each county. In 2024, he traveled to over 150 museums across the state, and he has challenged himself to visit 250 more museums and attractions. Come listen to his adventures across Iowa.
