As I was headed out the door for the meeting of the greatest Kiwanis club this morning, it was so cold that I heard the Kee kee bird. He chirped," Kee kee kee kee ripes it's Cold". Yikes, now you know it was cold. Not sure, but heard 70 below. Well maybe not quite 70, but 63 below? Something like that.
As I stepped out of my 345 powered pickup with a triple barreled carburetor, high lift cam, and rear end ratio of 21 to 1, the cold air hit me like a blast furnace in reverse. Yikes.
Again, Amy provided the assembled Kiwanians with a most delightful breakfast. Kinda glad you were not there because that left more for the greatest Kiwanis Club ever.
Hope your breakfast of rolled oats, barley and wheat germ was cold and yucky. He he.

Our speaker for the day was our very own Bill Anderson. Bill is a member of the Aurelia Kiwanis Club. You are not.
Bill is the head honcho of the Cherokee County Economic Development. He gave us an update of what they have accomplished and also what their plans are for the future. Bill is a shaker and doer. He knows the counties needs and has plans to get the needs fulfilled.
Then bill told us a secret that we can not share with you because you are not a member of the Aurelia Kiwanis Club. Sometimes I feel you do not believe me. Now that breaks my heart. He he.
Now for the business meeting.
We discussed a new great addition to the walking path. It consists of a series........oops, non of your business. Then we discussed a great addition to the Car Show and Picnic. we thought it would be a great time to add........oops, non of your business. Then we decided to add ......... to our Kiwanis blue shirts. Again non of your business.
By the way. A blonds house caught on fire. She called 911. the dispatcher said, "Please tell me how to get there?" She said, " I hope in a big read truck" Yikes.
That was about all our business that is any of your business.
We closed with the reciting of the Pledge of Allegiance, which always does your heart good.
