Ok cowboy, get both feet deep in the stirrups, lean way back in the saddle, cuz you are going on an 8 second ride that will require every ounce of grit you can conger up.
Beautiful day, upright taking nourishment, and looking down at the grass. Just can't get any better than this especially on Kiwanis Thursday.
It seems each meeting is more exciting than the last. Yikes.
Before the opening bell, Amy provided, once again, a breakfast of superior quality. I tell you what sports fans, never have we been treated to a more scrumptious serving of biscuits and gravy.
We drooled with anticipation and our taste buds danced with delight during our devouring double dipped delightfully delicious dining. Dad gum good.
Amy you are a dandy. Thank you.
Our speaker for the day was Jerry Enderson. He worked his entire career working with grains. His last assignment was at Duluth Minnesota, where he was in charge of grain shipments overseas. He told us that they loaded a ship with one million bushels of wheat to be shipped to Europe. Yikes. Then he told us that.......oops. Guess you will have to ask someone else about the rest of his presentation, because you were not there, so there.
You just missed another great speaker. Too bad, young lad, so sad.
During our business meeting, we discussed many items with great intellect and insight.. It's amazing the opinions and ideas that are taken into consideration by this group of scholars.
Ok, you can get a bit of our discussions, but remember you are not a member of the greatest Kiwanis Club in the world, so the information released will be limited.
We discussed the possibility of a large sign at the entrance of the walking path. The sign would advertise the walking path and large enough to be seen from the highway.
We also talked about adding more flags to the walking path. Think that's a go.
The rest of the business was our business and of course none of yours. Sure wish you would be there and share your intellect with us.
Sure could use some new ideas.
Thanks again for supporting us. You are the best.
Have a great week.
Be safe.
Hugs. (the good long ones)
Aurelia Kiwanis
