Thursday, July 17 Meeting
Ok, ok, ok, I’m a day late. Little problem with the old ticker, so Dan the Seed Man took over for me. First missed meeting in 183 years. Well almost.
Anyway while you were home picking your nose and clipping your toenails, you missed another great meeting and speaker, as best I can tell.
Amy served another great breakfast which Insurance Jones described as “scrumptious, scintillating, sensory sweet, and suvvulant, and down right satisfying.” Wow, great job again Amy. Such great accolades. (Wish I understood them) Great job. Thank you.
Our speaker for the day was Jan (McGee) Pingel. According to the board of directors and Jonsey she spoke about how she works with people struggling with addiction, depression, and abuse. She also works with veterans working with mental issues.
A big “thank you” to former sharpshooting Atom Jan.
The business meeting was again our business and none of yours, cuz you were not there nor a Kiwanian, so your business is not our business nor is our business your business. That’s how business works.
One thing of note however, the flyers for the car show are out and beautiful. Should make at least $100,000 on the golf ball drop. That sounds exciting. Lot’s of money for kids and the community.
Jonsey also mentioned that he is concerned why pizza is made in the round, cut into triangles, and served in a square box? Wow, he better talk to Jan.
Short I know, but AWOL, so better stop. See you next week. Hugs.
NEXT MEETING: Thursday, July 31, at 7 a.m. at Aurelia Community Center.
