Letter to the Editor: Thank you for the great coverage

Thank you for the great coverage and photos of the high school sports. I subscribed to the Cherokee Times to use the photos and articles about my granddaughter Deidra Doeden. It was a pleasure to have all those for the scrapbook I gave her for Christmas. I also like reading your entire newspaper. You have awesome hard news on the front page, and you support your local businesses and events.

I always read the comics and especially enjoy the Strange but True section.

Thanks for the wrapping paper you included in the Dec. 12 issue. I used it to wrap books I purchased at Cherokee's awesome bookstore called The Book Vine. (They wrapped some of them for me.)

Cherokee has amazing businesses. I had my hair done at Degree of Style, which offers so many other services, I had an awesome peppermint hot chocolate at 59 Grind, we had an awesome meal at the Gasthaus, and we viewed children going into the Wonder Woods Indoor Play. What a grand idea for a business.

We were warmly welcomed at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where our granddaughter DeLani Doeden was married. And the streets were clean after 2 big snowfalls. What a fine community and newspaper.
