Mid-Sioux Opportunity, Inc. seeking applicants for Richard Hatz scholarships

Mid-Sioux Opportunity, Inc., is accepting applications for two $500 Richard Hatz Scholarships.

Recipients will be chosen based on community service and plans to continue that service through education. Applicants must reside in Lyon, Sioux, Plymouth, Cherokee or Ida counties and plan to attend a higher education institution in 2025, pursuing a degree in business, health, nutrition, early education or energy conservation. Mid-Sioux employees, their children and grandchildren are also eligible.

The scholarship honors Dick Hatz and his dedication to Mid-Sioux. It is funded by staff and board member donations.

Applications are due by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2025, and can be found online at www.midsioux.org.
