Charles K. Johnson, 81, of Marcus, Iowa, formerly of Cherokee, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Heartland Care Center in Cherokee, Iowa.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be at Cedar Cemetery at Larrabee, Iowa.

Charles was born on January 8, 1944 to Benjamin and Katherine (Kempthorne) Johnson at Wausau, Nebraska.
He graduated from Wausau High School.
He was married to Nancy Anderson on June 25, 1967 at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
Charles worked as a custodian for the Wall Lake School District and he also worked for Midwest Industries in Ida Grove.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Nancy Johnson.
Charles is survived by his daughter, Angela and Lukas Nelson of Iowa Falls, Iowa; grandchildren Skylar and Zach Hohbach of Paullina, Iowa and Dylan and Sara Gaskins of Cherokee, Iowa; 11 great grandchildren; sister Mary Lou Gilpin of Aurora, Colorado; also several nieces and nephews.
